Mental health affects all we do

Mental health is a topic we’re hearing about more often and that’s a good thing. For far too long no one talked about mental health which is something that’s had a negative effect on all of us. Mental health issues not only affect people’s quality of life, they affect work morale, performance, and overall productivity.

Workplaces can manage concerns like stress, conflict, and absenteeism that arise from mental health issues through awareness and creating an environment that supports employee well-being. Most individuals who work spend the majority of their day at work so it vital these issues be addressed.

Available Support

Support is provided by the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) who is committed to supporting employers in providing the appropriate tools and information to develop and sustain mentally healthy workplaces.
